Fey-kind are an indigenous race to the world. On Altria, the Fey-kind are a cross between the fairy and sprites, though have more of an elven look to them. Fey-kind can be from one to four feet in height, though there are some variety that is said to have been as tall as six feet. They are always thin with rounded or angular features.

Fey-Kind can be generally found in remote locations and near elven settlements. Each type have their own society and society alignemnt. Most of the fey-kind types have short lifespans, lasting between 25 and 35 years. For this reason, adult fey-kind tend to be curious and sometimes reckless, (like a Kinder, but not as nearly as bad).

Types of Fey-kind


These are the tallest of the fey-kind, ranging from three and a half feet to four and a half feet tall and about 60 to 90 pounds. Their skin appears brown to golden brown (some have even darker shades) and they generally have blonde or black hair. Forest-fey features are angular and somewhat elven in appearance. Some forest-fey can pass themselves off as children elves, to non-elves.

Forest-fey societies are generally neutral with chaotic tendencies, they do love a good joke or two. The society is normally lead by a group of elders, however the whole community is envloved in decission making, though very few decissions are actually made and they tend to spend most of the day arguing and calling each other names, with frequent fighting. Forest-fey, enjoy alcohol of nearly any type and throw frequent parties.

Forest-fey are excellent thieves and fighters, and poor wizards or any class that requires displine and concentration. Some are known to be excellent assassins.

Forest-fey do not have any natural magical abilities or talents.

These fey are tipcially found as their name implies, near, around or in rivers. They typically stand from two and a half feet to 3 and a half feet tall and weight between 50 to 80 pounds. Their skin has a blueish to greenish tint with white hair.

The River-Fey societies tend to be a open concil, where each head of the family has a voice. The community alignment maintains good tendancies but can lean to chaotic at times.

River-fey are good rangers, thieves, druids and clerics. They see other magic as being unnatral.

River-Fey have the ability to breath under water for a limited time (about 4 hours) before needed to return to the surface for air, they then cannot water breath again for the same amount of time they were breathing water. They may also "blend with water" similar to chameleon power. 10% of river-fey can also shapeshift into small aquatic animals.

These are the smallest of the fey-kind standing only one to two feet in height fully grown. These however are the longest lived generally exceeding the other types by 10 to 15 years.

Leaf-Fey are Lawful and pride themselves on an ordered society. The leaders of the society compete once a year in several contests to prove their combat skills, logic, and leadership abilities. The one with the highest score becomes the leader and the pecking order decends from their. No leaf-fey is considered useless and a mutual respect is displayed reguardless of station.

Leaf-Fey are good warriors, clerics and battle wizards. Many will ride large birds into battle.

Leaf-Fey have the ability to blend with thier suroundings and to feather fall at will. They will use this ability to glide from tree to tree.
